Kevin M. Frain was named executive vice president of e-commerce operations for Barnes & Noble in August 2008. He is responsible for Barnes & Noble.com’s information technology, project management, customer service, digital initiatives and administration.
From 2002 through 2008, Mr. Frain was chief financial officer and vice president of operations for Barnes & Noble.com. He has been a part of the company’s e-commerce operation since January 1999, and has been a major factor in the success of the company’s website.

Mr. Frain started his career at Barnes & Noble in 1996 in the company’s corporate finance department. He was instrumental in the successful completion of the company’s public offering of Barnes & Noble.com in 1999. Prior to joining Barnes & Noble, he was treasurer of Jamesway Corporation.
Mr. Frain holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Villanova University and a master’s of business administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He lives with his wife and three children in New Jersey. |
